About Pathyaahar

Pathyaahar is based on a concept that is a mix of both – Ayurveda and Modern Science. It draws from our ancient, Indian Food Wisdom along with contemporary Nutritional Science.

What does Pathyaahar mean? The Charak Samhita gives a detailed description of various types of Aahar Vihar and its effect on the body. Aahar or ‘food’ has been called as ‘Brahma’ or The Creator – as all life begins and sustains with Aahar. Acharya Charaka gives a beautiful concept about Aahar and says that Aahar not only forms the body, but also the disease. If the wholesome food (Hit Aahar) is responsible for Sukh (Happiness), the unwholesome food causes Dukh (misery/disease).

Pathyaahar, which has two conjoined words – Pathya and Aahar.  That Aahar & Vihar (food & drink) which is suitable for you, your body & your condition. The food & drink that not only gives nourishment but also happiness to the body, is known as Pathya Aahar. If you are suffering from high blood pressure, a low salt diet is Pathya Aahar for you. If you are suffering from Diabetes, a low sugar diet is Pathya Aahar for you.

Each body is different and responds differently. No genuine healthcare practitioner will promise you numbers. It is a journey that you must start and put in efforts first, before jumping onto results. However, if you do follow the meal plan and lifestyle guidelines as prescribed, you will start to notice changes in your health in the first 15 days.

There are no one month programs available because it is too less a time to work with anyone and bring long term, sustainable results. Restoring health holistically needs time and consistency.

All of my meal plans are customized according to your personal, cultural & religious preferences. The meal plan will have options accordingly. There is no force to eat anything that you are not comfortable with.

There is no monthly payment option available but as mentioned in all the programs, the fees can be paid in two installments. First installment of 50% to be paid at the beginning of the program and remaining 50% to be paid at the end of the second or third month of the program, depending on which plan you have opted for - 3 or 6 months.
3 modes of payment are available - Gpay, UPI ID and a direct bank transfer is available.

The consultation does not include a workout plan, however I will guide you with respect to what type of exercise you should go for, step count throughout the day and basic guidelines about physical activity.

Yes. I have clients from all across India and the globe. I consult clients from US, Europe, Australia, Dubai, Canada etc. A mutually convenient time is set with the client for appointment calls and follow ups.

All of my meal plans and lifestyle coaching is customized to each client as per their geography, ethnicity, personal preferences, work hours, goals and their challenges. I take time in the first appointment to understand your routine, your food pattern and lifestyle and then design a plan accordingly. 50% of my clientele is NRIs so I am well equipped to accommodate clients from abroad.

Neither will you gain the weight back nor will any of your symptoms return. My focus is on providing the right education & education to the client throughout my consultation, so that they are informed & equipped to make the right choices for the rest of their life. At the end of the program, you will have the right mindset, know how much to indulge in and how to manage your conditions well. This is why I insist on designing sample menus with me during the consultation so that the client learns to balance their meals properly and are not just spoon fed everything.
